Development rationale

When does a business need custom software?

Custom development makes sense when off-the-shelf services limit business processes — or when the company is creating a new digital product.

Off-the-shelf services limit the business

Scattered data

Information lives across different systems, spreadsheets, and chat threads.

Manual work

Staff move data around and repeat the same steps by hand.

The system doesn't fit the process

A standard CRM or ERP doesn't match how the company actually works.

Missing features

Features the business needs depend on the limits and update roadmap of an external service.

Workaround costs keep rising

Licenses, add-on modules, integrations, and manual upkeep keep getting more expensive.

The business depends on a vendor

Critical functions, data, and the system's evolution depend on one external platform's decisions.

The company is building a new product

Need a digital service for customers

The company needs its own portal, service, or new digital channel.

Launching a market-ready product

A SaaS, white-label, or industry idea needs to be validated, designed, and turned into a working product.

We take a deep dive into the challenge

We study users, processes, the market, and current constraints. The result is a recommended solution format, product architecture, and launch plan.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We build software to manage company processes and automate operational tasks

CRM, projects, documents, analytics, and daily operations in one manageable digital environment.

Unified working environment

  • Access is role-based, while all modules remain connected within one system
  • Tasks can be delegated to AI agents within the platform
  • Processes are automated using built-in tools
  • Management gets a complete operational view and the key metrics it needs

Flexibility and Control

  • Features are developed around the company's business priorities
  • There is no need to wait for updates from an external provider
  • The company retains control over its code and data
  • The infrastructure or development partner can be changed when needed

Your own asset

You invest not only in a system, but also in intellectual property

The company's unique processes, knowledge, and logic stay inside the product — which can scale across branches, be licensed to partners, or grow into a separate business line.

Questions

Can we reach out without a finished technical spec?

Yes. We start from the business problem, users, and processes, and help shape the product concept, define the scope of the first version, and prepare requirements for architecture and development.

Can we start with just one part of the system?

Yes. We usually launch one complete module or key scenario first, then expand the system in stages, prioritized by business value.

Who owns the code and data?

The client owns their data and gets rights to the product built for them, as set out in the contract. Any shared libraries or reusable technical components, where used, are addressed separately.

How much does development cost and how long does it take?

Cost and timeline depend on the scope of the first version, the number of user roles, business scenarios, and integrations. After diagnosis, the project is broken into stages, each with its own deliverable, timeline, and budget.

Who supports the product after launch?

Support can be handled by KAIVIX, the client's team, or both together. If needed, code, documentation, and access make it possible to hand the product to another qualified team.
